What to purchase
A Linux VPS with full root access
Your VPS hosts the sending infrastructure. Provider plan names change, so use this checklist rather than relying on an old plan label.
Linux operating systemSelect a current, supported Linux image offered by the provider.
Root / administrator accessYou must receive the server IP, SSH username and password.
Dedicated public IPA clean IP is important for establishing a new sending reputation.
Keep the VPS activeThe server is a recurring infrastructure cost and must remain online.
